Believe it or not, there is a list of the top 10 San Diego condos out there and two of them are in the East Village neighborhood. These two condos are The Metropolitan condos and The Mark condos. There are two more luxury condos that are on par with The Metropolitan and The Mark condos and these are The Legend condominiums and the lofts at Parkloft. These four are far superior to all the other condo complexes in the East Village.
Lets take a quick look what make each of these four so special:
- The Metropolitan condos – These condos are located on the top 10 floors of an all glass high rise building known as the Omni hotel. You can easily spot the starting floor of the condos its where the balconies begin high up the tower. The Metropolitan condos have 10 foot ceilings, very high end finishes throughout, floor to ceilings windows offering some of the best views in San Diego. This is also a full service amenity building with a pool, gym, concierge, etc, plus the only condo in San Diego to offer both room service and maid service from the hotel staff. If you’re a jet setter person always on the go, this would be a great option for you. These are rather exclusive with only 36 condos in the complex with starting prices over a million dollars. Residents of The Metropolitan condos have their own lap pool on top of the Omni hotel, have access to the hotel gym and have staffed lobby 24/7.
- The Mark condos – Offer a great mix of floor plans from 900 square foot one bedrooms to some penthouse floor plans around 2,500 sf. The Mark also offers floor to ceilings windows with units above the 19th floor having 10 foot ceilings. This is another full service amenity building taking up an entire block, consisting of a high rise and townhomes surrounding its courtyard. Its rare to find one bedrooms in one of the top 10 San Diego condos and most of these one bedrooms have two parking spaces another very rare find in downtown. Amenities include one of the sunniest lap pools downtown, private grass area in courtyard, gym, conference room and 24/7 lobby staff.
- The Legend condos – This condo building is located inside Petco Park, which includes not only the Padres baseball stadium but also a grass park beyond center field. The Legend condos has a very special amenity not found elsewhere, that is a 7th floor roof top terrace that overlooks the baseball field, complete with lots of seating, TV, an out door kitchen and fire pits, it’s a great place to hang out and watch the ball game. - Parkloft – These are the best loft units in downtown.
